Johnson is a field-stretching option that could help immediately with injuries hampering the Jaguars WR room. Johnson saw at least three targets four times in the final six weeks of the 2020 season as the Chargers dealt with injuries. D.J. Chark and Marvin Jones are expected to play Week 1, but Johnson stands to get snaps in empty-set situations to start.
LAC WR Tyron Johnson - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook
Week 17 at Kansas City
Johnson had a down game last week against the Denver Broncos as he caught all three of his targets for 26 yards. Operating as the team’s No.2 option behind Mike Williams, Johnson didn’t see the field as much as Jalen Guyton. Guyton saw a greater amount of the snap share than any other Chargers WR last week as he had a 91% share compared to Johnson’s 77%. Johnson makes a risky WR3 option this week.
