When it comes to running backs with the Chiefs’ first team, it’s been Clyde Edwards-Helaire taking the first rep almost every series.

Fantasy Impact:

The tweet went on to say McKinnon has usually been the next up with Pacheco, Jones and Gore mixing in from time to time. It's obviously not great news for Jones, but we're still early in the game as far as camp goes.

While Pelissero didn't go into any more detail, other reports say there's no major issue with CEH, and he could actually come off the list sooner than later.

The Kansas City Chiefs have signed RB Ronald Jones to a one-year deal.

Fantasy Impact:

Jones' addition means that the Chiefs will be making some cuts at running back as time gets closer to the regular season. Jones is no lock to make the roster, but his two seasons of 1,000-plus yards from scrimmage gives him a leg up over McKinnon (injury history) and Williams (ineffective). Jones is a zero in the passing game, so if he does stick with the Chiefs, he will be used in short yard situations or as an injury replacement.
