After practicing fully this week the designation was expected. Ryan Tannehill will welcome the return of Jones who missed the previous three weeks before heading into a bye last week. The hamstring injury could project a snap count for Jones making him more of a WR3 heading into a matchup with Jacksonville.
The return of Jones will boost Tannehill’s fantasy outlook as he’s been without A.J. Brown and/or Julio Jones for six games so far this year. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine projects as the target leader out of Tennessee’s depleted group of pass catchers.
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Julio Jones logged another practice session on Thursday.
Jones has now practiced on back-to-back days and should be able to be cleared for Week 14 against Jacksonville. He does not have an official participation level due to still being on short-term injured reserve. Julio has been bothered by the hamstring injury for most of the season but looked good during team drills. Julio will provide a big boost to an offense that struggled without all three of its top playmakers. The veteran receiver is currently our 31st ranked wide receiver for Week 14.
