Steelers RB Najee Harris' (abdomen) status up in the air for Week 13

Steelers RB Najee Harris', who was ruled out of Monday night's game with an abdominal injury, status this week is up in the air, and he'll be reevaluated as the practice week goes on.

Fantasy Impact:

The good news is, Harris did not suffer a major injury, sources told Rapoport. So while that's nice to hear, there isn't really a lot to go with here for fantasy purposes. If Harris can log some practice time early in the week, it could mean he'll be good to go for Week 13. However, if he can't, we'll have to then monitor Warren's hamstring status. Warren should be next man up if he can play, but if both Harris and Warren are out, it could mean Snell gets a big workload in a nice matchup against the Falcons.

Mike Tomlin was asked if he has long-term concern about Najee Harris and said he didn’t have much to say about the running back so soon after the game.

“Not as I sit here right now,” Tomlin said, via Adam Bittner of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “But I don’t have a lot of information as I sit here right now.”

Fantasy Impact:

It's a pretty fluid situation as far as the Steelers RBs go. Harris was seen limping in and out of the lineup before heading to the locker room early and not returning on MNF. Warren is dealing with his own injury leaving Snell and McFarland to carry the load on the ground, and they did a pretty good job against the Colts. We'll continue to keep an eye on this situation as the week goes on. The Steelers do have an early game against the Falcons so owners should have time to adjust lineups.

Fantasy Impact:

The injury is not considered significant, according to the rest of the tweet. While Warren was supposed to see an increased role in the offense, Harris has looked more like the 2020 version over the span of the last two weeks. Harris had 20 carries last week, including a nice TD run, and added four catches.

Pryor's tweet went on to say it won't affect his game participation for Week 11, which is a contest against the Bengals. While all the hype was around Warren leading into last week's game, Harris ran 20 times for 99 yards, both were season highs. Meanwhile Warren had nine carries for 37 yards and added three catches for 40 yards, so he's still trending up as the 12 touches were a season high.
