Giants WR Wan'Dale Robinson (ACL) expected to come off PUP Tuesday

A few injury updates I’ve gathered:

• WR Wan’Dale Robinson: ACL. Expecting him to be activated from PUP by the Tuesday deadline.

• WR Cole Beasley: Quad. He’s close to 100%. Ford-Wheaton injury boosts Beasley’s odds for a roster spot.

Fantasy Impact:

The Giants have a crowded receiving room, and Robinson will need some time to get up to speed, so it remains to be seen what kind of role he'll start with and eventually get to on the Giants. Robinson has played most of his time in the slot and that area of the room is especially crowded, and includes the rookie Hyatt. Robinson was having the best game of his young career last season in Week 10, catching nine balls for 100 yards on 13 targets before tearing his ACL.

NYG WR Isaiah Hodgins - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs. Dallas Cowboys

After arriving in New York off waivers midway through the season, Isaiah Hodgins caught 33 balls in eight games for the Giants. He also caught four touchdowns in a five-week span toward the end of the regular season and he had a great game in the wildcard victory over the Vikings, catching eight of nine targets for 105 yards and a touchdown. Hodgins has size that few other receivers in New York offer, giving him a leg up on the competition for targets.

That competition is fierce, however, and with tight end Darren Waller and running back Saquon Barkley poised to be the top-two receiving options in the offense, it’s hard to bank on any one of their receivers getting enough consistent fantasy production to be worth starting. He’s definitely worth adding to fantasy rosters though, given his unique skill set and production at the end of last season. Just take a cautious approach to starting him.
