Jaguars WR Travis Hunter gets season-ending knee surgery

Ian Rapoport on X

Nov 11, 2025 · 3:20 PM EST

Jaguars star CB/WR Travis Hunter underwent season-ending knee surgery, with eyes set on 2026. It was an LCL repair.

Related players: Brian Thomas Jr., Jakobi Meyers, Parker Washington

Fantasy Impact:

He’s expected to return within 6 months to full football activities, the post went on to say. Hunter was already on IR after the injury. The Jags will hope for the return BTJ from an ankle injury to go along with newly-acquired Meyers as well as Washington. The move for Meyers makes a lot more sense now for the Jags.

Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr. to miss Week 10

Adam Schefter

Nov 07, 2025 · 3:15 PM EST

Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. will miss Sunday’s game vs. the Texans due to his high ankle sprain.

Related Players: Parker Washington, Jakobi Meyers, Dyami Brown

Fantasy Impact:

Lots of moving pieces in the Jaguars' WR room the past couple of weeks.

Jakobi Meyers could be thrust into a larger role than we would have assumed after just a few days with the team.

With Thomas missing Week 10, both Meyers and Washington could end up being desperation WR4 options, but against the Texans, you should hopefully have better options at your disposal.

Not at #Jaguars practice:

WR Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle)

CB Jourdan Lewis (neck)

TE Hunter Long (hip/back)

OL Ezra Cleveland (knee/ankle)

WR Dyami Brown (concussion protocol) was *not* in an orange penny

Dennis Gardeck (chest) was.

Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr. dealing with high ankle sprain

Adam Schefter on X

Nov 04, 2025 · 1:52 PM EST

Brian Thomas Jr. is dealing with a low-grade high ankle sprain but has a chance to play this week, per sources.

Fantasy Impact:

The Jags are banged up at WR with Travis Hunter now on IR. The team traded for Jakobi Meyers, but he may not be up to speed for a lot of snaps this week. BTJ has a chance to play this week, according to Schefter, but the second year WR hasn't exactly been productive, so he'll likely be a risky play even if he's a go. Hopefully the injury reports this week give us a better idea leading up to game time.
