A new beginning and opportunity for Jones with a chance to the backup.

Fantasy Impact:

This seems like a great signing for both parties; Jones breathes new life into his NFL career and the Vikings have a legit backup in case anything happens to Darnold. We'll see if KOC can work his magic on Jones and revive a career that was heading in a terrible direction.

Week 15 vs. Arizona Cardinals
Russell Wilson is working through the league's concussion protocol, leaving Brett Rypien as the possible starter for the Broncos Sunday against Arizona. Rypien got the start back in Week 7 and posted a miserable 4.9 yards per attempt with 225 yards and an interception on 46 attempts. The Cardinals are among the easier matchups in the league for opposing quarterbacks, but Rypien has no track record of success as a NFL starter. He is not a starting option for fantasy leagues.
