Jets WR Elijah Moore will be active for Week 8

Around the NFL

Oct 24, 2022 · 4:00 PM EDT

WR Elijah Moore returned to the Jets team facility on Monday, and coach Robert Saleh expects him to be active for Sunday's game against the Patriots. Moore was excused from the team last week following his trade request.

Related Players: Braxton Berrios, Jeff Smith

Fantasy Impact:

You can follow whichever narrative you'd like; either the team attempts to placate Moore by involving him more in the offense, or they could simply keep him on the bench and incorporate other receivers in their fledgling passing offense. However you see the situation playing out, he's best kept on fantasy benches in Week 8, at the least.

Jets WR Elijah Moore has requested a trade

Ian Rapoport via Twitter

Oct 20, 2022 · 5:27 PM EDT

Jets WR Elijah Moore, frustrated with his role and usage, has asked for a trade. The team has no plans at all to trade him.

Related Players: Corey Davis, Garrett Wilson, Braxton Berrios

Fantasy Impact:

The news comes as a shock until you look at Moore's usage since the return of Zach Wilson, including back-to-back season-lows in routes run and six combined targets in three games. Moore was almost fantasy relevant through three weeks, coming in as the overall WR64 before Wilson's return. Since then, he has scored 8.6 half-PPR points, clocking in as the WR86.

Jets WR Denzel Mims requests trade

Zack Rosenblatt on Twitter

Aug 25, 2022 · 7:41 PM EDT

Denzel Mims has requested a trade from the Jets, per his agent.

Related players: Elijah Moore, Garrett Wilson, Corey Davis, Braxton Berrios

Fantasy Impact:

We have Mims buried on the depth chart behind Moore, Wilson, Davis and Berrios. Mims has likely just fallen out of favor with a coaching staff that didn't draft him and his ceiling with the Jets seems to be a WR3 if he can pass Davis and Berrios. He'll likely have some interested teams but his landing spot will go a long way in determining his new fantasy value.
