the past for not always embracing the violent spirit Portis and
injured Ladell Betts carry on to the field, abusing themselves for
the extra yard and embracing contact. Alexander has had issues in
pass protection as well. Zorn hopes that Portis and Betts have an
effect on Alexander. "Those are the types of things we're hoping
will grow on him," Zorn said. Zorn called Alexander a "tremendous"
back and repeatedly praised his huge 2005 season, when Seattle
reached the Super Bowl.
