Michael Pittman Jr. gives an update on his foot injury and says there’s no definitive time frame.

Fantasy Impact:

According to the post, Pittman said he’s started running, and it’s been frustrating for him. “There’s no time frame. I’d like to be back out there after the bye, but I can’t be out there if I’m not effective,” Pittman said in the post. The Steelers have a bye this week, but based on his status, it seems unlikely he's back for Week 10. The Steelers are 6-2 and certainly getting by their WRs and TEs and there doesn't appear to be a need to rush him back.

HC Mike Vrabel said, "we'll see" when it comes to A.J. Brown practicing.

Fantasy Impact:

Vrabel said the team will see how Brown progresses and see what he looks like during the week. Brown did not play in Week 8, of course, and this isn't necessarily a positive outlook for his Week 9 status. But, there is a long way to go and we'll likely have a better idea as the week goes on. The Patriots host the Packers in the later Sunday window of Week 9.

Hall's quad appears good to go. Rapoport said again the team doesn't plan to trade Hall, but even Rapoport wondered what would happen if a team came along and gave them a good offer - especially because Allen has proved to be a nice RB1 option. If the team doesn't move off Hall by this week, it's looking like it will be a workload split between Hall and Allen. Granted it's the Jets, but it would be hard to not give Allen at least a decent-sized workload given how he's preformed with Hall out of action.

Breece Hall missed his fifth straight game with a quad injury on Sunday and Braelon Allen continued to shine in his absence.

Hall has practiced the last two weeks and he’s been scratched after being listed as questionable, which has joined Allen’s performance as reasons for some to wonder if the Jets might be thinking about trading Hall ahead of the November 10 deadline.

The Jets have also reportedly rebuffed overtures from teams interested in trading for wide receiver Garrett Wilson, so it does not appear that their 2-6 start is going to lead to a fire sale over the next week.

Fantasy Impact:

Allen ran 21 times for 147 yards and a touchdown in the 38-33 loss to the Raiders and he’s averaging just over 100 yards a game while Hall has been out of the lineup. It seems like trading Hall should at least be considered by the Jets, especially with a replacement already proving he's a quality NFL back. But Glenn insisted, "Breece is still a part of this team," and the Jets are, "in the business of keeping good players." It could be coach-speak as teams this time of year look to drive up prices as the trade deadline gets closer.
