It can be deflating when you miss out on getting one of the top picks in your fantasy football draft. Picking towards the end of the first round means players like Jahmyr Gibbs, Bijan Robinson, and Ja’Marr Chase will all be long gone by the time you are on the clock. However, leagues can still be won drafting out of the 11th position. It’s also important to note that being towards the end of your draft means that you might need to jump ADP in some situations to get a player that you want.

In this article, I will walk you through the ideal players to draft out of this position for every single round of the draft, using Yahoo ADP to guide the available candidates.

My Plan of Attack When Drafting 11th in a 12-Team Yahoo Half-PPR League

Roster Settings: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex (WR/RB/TE), 1 Kicker, 1 DEF, 7 bench spots

Being towards the end of the first round, I don’t want to draft either two running backs or two wide receivers right out of the gate. By the time I’m up again in the third and fourth rounds, the talent level will have dropped off significantly at both positions. I prefer to wait on quarterback until the later rounds, and I’m also comfortable passing on the top tight ends.
