Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson fumbles twice in loss

Running back Rhamondre Stevenson had two of those fumbles, including one at the Steelers’ goal-line, and he has now coughed the ball up nine times since the start of the 2024 season. Head coach Mike Vrabel said that the Patriots need Stevenson to clean up that aspect of his game.

The story went on to say Stevenson’s goal-line fumble in the third quarter was the last time he touched the ball on Sunday and next Sunday’s backfield workload will be telling about how the Patriots plan to handle things for the rest of the year. Henderson led the team in carries with 11, but produced only 28 yards. Henderson's struggles in pass protection can be seen all over social media, which has led to Gibson being move involved. Gibson had seven carries. Both Stevenson and Henderson each caught three passes.

Carson Wentz to start for Vikings in Dublin in Week 4

Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell confirmed Carson Wentz will get another start for the team next week when the team meets the Steelers in Dublin, Ireland.

This was expected after Wentz had a solid day against the Bengals, going 14/20 for 173 yards and two touchdowns in Minnesota’s 48-10 victory. J.J. McCarthy is out 2-4 weeks with a right high ankle sprain. With Wentz able to hold the fort in Week 3, he’ll lead the charge as the Vikings make their trek through Europe over the next two weeks, facing the Steelers in Dublin in Week 4 and then meeting the Browns in London in Week 5 before their Week 6 bye.

Fantasy Impact:

Lamb had left the game earlier in the day and come back before leaving again. Lamb was initially hurt on a rushing attempt early in the game and had his leg rolled up on. Lamb did not record a catch.

James Conner carted off field with ankle injury

Cardinals RB James Conner was carted off the field following an ankle injury during the third quarter against the 49ers.

Fantasy Impact:

The fact that both teams came out onto the field in support of Conner as well as the broadcast not initially showing a replay (RedZone did later show a replay) may tell you all you need to know about the situation. Conner had nine rushes for 22 yards and 15 yards on three catches. Look for 2024 third-round pick Trey Benson, who was already getting more work, to step into the lead role.
