12 Dynasty Winners and Losers After the 2025 NFL Draft

Now that we're a week past the NFL Draft, the dust has mostly settled (except perhaps around a certain Colorado quarterback). Rookie drafts are kicking into gear, trades are being made, dynasty rankings are dropping left, right, and center, and you need a plan. To help lay the foundation for that plan, here are six winners and six losers from last weekend's events (including a few of the rookies, themselves).

Losers
Shedeur Sanders, QB - Browns
It was the biggest story of the draft by far. Shedeur Sanders fell not just out of the top five picks, not just out of the first round, but all the way to the fifth ... where he was selected by a Cleveland team that had already picked a quarterback two rounds prior. The Browns alone passed on Sanders six times before eventually selecting him 144th overall — 50 picks after they snagged Oregon QB Dillon Gabriel — and he joins a quarterback room that already included Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, and Deshaun Watson (kind of).
To be frank, I didn't like Sanders as a fantasy prospect even prior to the draft — he has low-upside, game-manager traits, with little to no rushing ability — but this precipitous fall and the absolute clusteryuck that is the Cleveland depth chart make matters far worse. Sanders is no longer worth a glance in the first round or two of rookie drafts and has a long, long road to relevance in dynasty.
