Will Revis be matched up with Anquan Boldin from start to finish?

From the people I’ve spoken to, don’t expect Revis to play Boldin for 100 percent of the snaps. It’s a tough first assignment for Revis. Boldin’s physical style and crisp intermediate route running will surely test Revis’ ability.

The more likely scenario is that the jets All-Pro cornerback will cover Derrick Mason and T.J. Houshmanzadeh too. Defensive backs coach Dennis Thurman told me he’ll gauge whether Revis needs a breather.

When I suggested that there’s no way Revis would ever admit to being tired and come out of the game, Thurman said he won’t have a choice.

The Eagles and star WR A.J. Brown agreed to terms on a new 3-year extension for $96M, the highest for any WR in NFL history. He’s now under contract through 2029 & his total guarantee of $84M is also the highest.

The Eagles are not messing around with their top two receivers, inking this deal just 10 days after locking in DeVonta Smith. Jalen Hurts remains insulated with high-level talent.

Lions extend WR Amon-Ra St. Brown

The Lions have a deal for one of the top young talents. They agreed on an extension for WR Amon-Ra St. Brown. He gets four years and more than $120M, with $77M guaranteed.

Fantasy Impact:

Good move for the Lions, who lock in their No. 1 pass-catching option. They will still likely address the position in the NFL Draft, but that shouldn't impact St. Brown.

The Jets are trading QB Zach Wilson to the Denver Broncos. The deal: Wilson and a 7th to Denver for a 6th.

Fantasy Impact:

It's hard to picture this prohibiting the team from taking a QB in the NFL Draft but it certainly insulates them a little bit if they end up unable to move up where they want. Wilson's dynasty SuperFlex value will at least improve in the short term.
