Courier News: After missing five games with a sprained knee and
returning last week, Bears WR Brandon Lloyd appears on the injury
report now with a calf injury. He was limited in practice and is
probable. Brandon Rideau, who signed a contract that the team will
announce today to be promoted from the practice squad, is expected
to be active for the game. He got extra work after practice this
week on special teams and is a big target at 6-3, 198 pounds. He
had a rapport with QB Kyle Orton during training camp."Brandon had
interest from other teams when he was released at final cuts,"
said Rideau's agent, Ed Wasielewski. "But we felt this was the
right place for him. Now, he has a chance to be a part of the team
that is making a playoff push."
