It's become clear in Houston that the running back the offensive linemen want “toting the rock,” as left tackle Duane Brown said Sunday, is Arian Foster, the undrafted free agent from Tennessee, who has run 39 times for 216 yards and three touchdowns in his past two games.

“I got a little choked up walking off the field,” Foster said. “With everything I've been through, everyone who knows my story … it's been a long road. Hard work is very rewarding.”

According to Winston, the running game just happened to click after 14 games — which also happens to be when Foster assumed a larger role in the offense. The Texans right tackle said the offensive line had been deserving of the criticism it had received, but everything changed in the last two games.

“I'm proud to be a part of a group like this,” he said.
