The Bengals have won three in a row and reinforcements are on the way. Source says the plan is for star WR Ja’Marr Chase (hip) to return this week. He was close last week and is expected to go this week vs. the Chiefs.
Higgins has made the most of his WR1 role, particularly these last two weeks when he went 16-262-1. Chase can plug right back into a fantasy WR1, while Higgins can operate as a fringe top-12 option in a possible shootout against the Chiefs.
Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said RB Travis Etienne was cleared to return to the game yesterday with his foot injury but he decided to hold him out not to risk it. They were planning to do more tests but Etienne said he was fine and team thought so too.
Bears WR Darnell Mooney is feared to have suffered a season-ending ankle injury during Sunday's game against the Jets.
Ian Rapoport reports Mooney suffered torn ligaments and will need surgery to repair them. Mooney was having a very nice season, given the circumstances, and was starting to pick up over the last few weeks with two touchdowns in three games before Sunday. The Bears were riddled with injuries both before the Jets game and during. Their season is completely lost now at 3-9, though they do currently hold the No. 2 pick in the draft. Byron Pringle had the lone touchdown of the day for the Bears in their 31-10 loss to the Jets.
