49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan told KNBR that he is "not too encouraged" about WR Deebo Samuel playing Sunday. Samuel has been dealing with a nagging hamstring injury.

It has been a lost season for Samuel, and when he has played, his usage has been sporadic. It is safe to assume the 49ers will be without their top receiver.
