Mike Triplett of ESPN reports that "the Saints' decision to release veteran Terrance West on Tuesday further cemented Jonathan Williams as the leading candidate to be paired with Alvin Kamara during Mark Ingram's four-game suspension to start the season".
Ingram averaged 14.4 carries and 4.4 targets in 2017. Even if Kamara takes some of that work, it is likely Williams would have a sizable role should he be the true complement to him to start the year. He is worth taking a flier on late in drafts and can likely be selected with your final pick. Williams currently is going undrafted.
