Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (toe) still opting to not have in-season surgery

Aaron Rodgers received a second opinion on his fractured toe during the Green Bay Packers' recent bye weekend. Rodgers' second option confirmed his decision to not have in-season surgery on his toe. Green Bay hoped the team's Week 13 bye would give Rodgers' toe more time to heal before the team's stretch run.

"There was no mindset change," Rodgers said Tuesday on the "Pat McAfee Show", via ESPN's Rob Demovsky.

Fantasy Impact: 

Rodgers was quoted as saying the key is rest and he could probably use another bye week. However, he says it's improving and he's expected to play against the Bears in Week 14.
