Pack still waiting to see status of running game

Roughly three weeks before the Packers open the regular season, Green Bay Mike McCarthy and his offensive staff probably know about as much about their running attack as they did the day training camp opened.

In two exhibition games, starting running back Ryan Grant has carried the ball eight times, two fewer than the team's three quarterbacks.

Quinn Porter, Brandon Jackson and Kregg Lumpkin all have more carries than Grant, who, to be fair, was very limited in the first game because he suffered a concussion.

Fantasy Impact:

Grant has carried the ball just eight times, the article says. Green Bay's offense is too load for Grant not to be productive, but he's probably a much better fit as a very high-end RB2 on your team.
