Mendenhall limited in practice, expected to play

Steelers Pro Bowl safety Troy Polamalu (knee) also is not expected to play Thursday. Starting running back Rashard Mendenhall (ankle) will be limited in practice this week but is expected to play.

I'm told the Wentz foot injury involves a bone and a ligament... Colts had been hoping for better news, are bracing for possible surgery

Fantasy Impact:

For now, Jacob Eason and rookie Sam Ehlinger are the only QBs behind Carson Wentz on the depth chart. It appears Wentz could need surgery which would lengthen a return timeline.

This may not be a big deal, but considering Devante Parker and Preston Williams are already on the PUP list, his injury is worth monitoring.

Belichick: Damien Harris 'can compete for top role'

Bill Belichick notes this morning that Damien Harris is in a different spot this year compared to last year. Can compete for the top role now. Kind of a rare admission from Belichick. Indication of how Harris is viewed in the building.

Fantasy Impact:

Damien Harris' stock has been slowly rising this summer, as he went from RB32 off boards in Underdog drafts in June to his recent spot at RB29 with an ADP of 85.2. Bill Belichick rarely gives much away and it's tough to take what he says too seriously, but Harris is in a great spot to lead the Patriots in carries in 2021 with a fantasy RB2 potential. The 24-year old is 4for4's 30th ranked RB in half-PPR formats.
