Lions QB Matthew Stafford (ankle) misses practice Wednesday

Lions starting quarterback Matthew Stafford is not practicing Wednesday due to a sprained ankle.

Fantasy Impact: 

Stafford has already been playing through rib and thumb ailments, so it is possible the Lions simply decide he's had enough this season and hold him out of Week 17. The Lions will start Chase Daniel under center if Stafford does end up sitting. There are some questions about Stafford's future in Detroit with a new General Manager and Head Coach expected this offseason. Stafford has two years left on his contract and is 33 years old.
