Colts WR Josh Downs missed practice Saturday with a groin injury.
The Colts are already dealing with an ankle injury to Alec Pierce, who is on the PUP list. We’ll find out more about Downs’ groin injury and if he’ll miss any time as a result, whether it’s a short-term injury or if he’ll miss a couple of weeks before the season starts.

Bears WR Luther Burden left Saturday’s practice early with an apparent leg injury, as he was seen limping to the locker room.
Burden was doing a 1-on-1 drill against cornerback Tyrique Stevenson and the two landed awkwardly in the end zone. The severity of the injury is still unknown as of this writing. Burden is a popular breakout candidate as a second-year player in Ben Johnson’s offense and is currently being drafted as a low-end WR2.
The Kansas City Chiefs received encouraging news Friday morning as rookie wide receiver Cyrus Allen returned to practice after missing nearly a week with a shin injury.
Allen, a fifth-round draft pick, had quickly become one of the biggest standouts of Chiefs training camp before suffering a shin bruise during Saturday’s practice at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph.
Related Players: Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, Tyquan Thornton, Travis Kelce
Allen was one of Kansas City’s biggest early-camp standouts, earning first-team reps and developing an apparent rapport with Patrick Mahomes before the injury. His quick return allows him to resume competing with Tyquan Thornton, Jalen Royals and others for a depth role. Allen remains a deep fantasy dart throw, but his combination of training-camp buzz and attachment to the Chiefs offense makes him worth monitoring.
