Jets Revis could be out Sunday

CB Darrelle Revis, he of the ballyhooed hamstring strain, participated in the early portion of practice Thursday -- meaning light positional drills. He did the same Wednesday, and sat out team drills. We won't know the extent of Thursday's work until later this afternoon, but it appears that Revis will sit out Sunday against the Denver Broncos.

From all indications, Drew Coleman will get the start, opposite Antonio Cromartie. In that case, Coleman will have a tough assignment, probably Eddie Royal. That's based on the assumption that Cromartie will be assigned to cover Brandon Lloyd, who leads the league with 589 receiving yards. Royal is one of the better No. 2 receivers in the NFL. Consider this: He has 199 yards in YAC (yards after the catch), second to Austin Collie (202) of the Indianapolis Colts.
