Jets QB Josh McCown has broken hand

Josh McCown's broken left hand was covered with a white bandage. His feelings couldn't be so easily masked.

The leader of the New York Jets fought back tears when reflecting on the best season of his 15-year career and how it just might be over following a 23-0 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

"It's been the best because of the guys, not numbers, you know," the 38-year-old McCown said. "It's been the best because of the group of men in the locker room. I'm just proud to be a part of it and I'm so thankful they let me be a part of this team."

Fantasy Impact:

It looks like Petty could start for the Jets in Week 15, but it's a big blow to the Jets and a downgrade for the rest of the offense. It's possible the team could see what they have in Hackenberg at some point too, but Hackenberg has not been impressive enough to this point to be considered fantasy worthy.
