There were not many positives for the Jets to take away from Sunday’s 26-19 loss to the Patriots, but they got another standout performance from one of their rookie first-round picks.
This week, it was Omar Cooper Jr.’s turn. The wide receiver returned from a high-ankle sprain to have a huge day for the Jets. Cooper had six catches for 103 yards and a touchdown in his first game since Week 1.
Fantasy Impact:
Cooper was a popular name in dynasty drafts this past spring and was thought of as a later first round, or early second round pick in those formats. Unfortunately, his injury in Week 1 derailed him a bit but he's back on the fantasy radar after this past week's game. Cooper was thought to be a nice compliment to Garrett Wilson as the team's WR2. There's a good chance he's on your league's wire, and he's worth adding. However, maybe take a wait-and-see approach before inserting him right into lineups.
