Hasselbeck says he's 'going to be alright' on Twitter

Still awaiting any sort of official update from Seahawks coach Jim Mora, but quarterback Matt Hasselbeck let his fans know he's OK on his Twitter account Sunday night.

You can click here to see a photo of Hasselbeck from the hospital on Sunday that he posted on his Twitter page, along with this message:

"Going to be alright. Thx to staff at Stanford and Dr. McAdam for snapping this photo."

Not exactly the normal way for injury information to be released by the NFL, but this is a new world indeed.

Mora will be available to the media Monday afternoon for a press conference at which time he'll presumably provide more news of the severity of the quarterback's rib injury.

Mora said after the Seahawks' 23-10 loss at San Francisco on Sunday that Hasselbeck had bruised ribs, but gave no indication of how long he might be out.
