Fant has failed to practice since missing the final preseason game causing some uncertainty regarding his status heading into Week 1. The Broncos staff has continued to downplay the injury and expect him back at practice next week.

If Fant were to sit the Week 1 matchup against the New York Giants, Albert Okwuebunam would start in his place.

Noah Fant’s exit from last week's game reflects the NFL's abundance of caution with regard to anything that could be perceived as a potential COVID-19 outbreak. It sounds like the team is inclined to believe it was food poisoning, though, as Fant stayed behind one night in Carolina to test for COVID-19 before getting back on a flight home.

Fant's COVID tests were negative but he's been listed as still not able to practice Monday and Tuesday of this week. The Broncos will play on Saturday and host the Bills, but Fant's status for Week 15 is a question mark at this point.

Broncos TE Noah Fant is questionable to play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, according to Ryan O'Halloran of the Denver Post.

The Broncos are depleted at tight end and need the physical Fant available if he can play. He is ranked at #8 on 4for4's tight end rankings for Week 11.

Denver Broncos star tight end Noah Fant was able to return to a limited practice session on Thursday.

Fant missed Wednesday's practice session with a rib injury but was able to return to a limited session this afternoon. He will need to take the practice field tomorrow in order to be cleared for Week 11, but the limited session is a step in the right direction as far as his potential availability is concerned. Fant is expected to play this weekend and is our eighth ranked tight end for Week 11.
