Chiefs send RB Kareem Hunt home from facility after video surfaces

Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt has reportedly been sent home from team facilities following the release of a video in which he can be seen hitting and kicking a woman in a February incident.

The clip, which came from an Ohio hotel hallway camera, was published by TMZ on Friday afternoon.

The NFL has yet to take any action against Hunt, though the likely scenario would see the running back go on the commissioner’s exempt list, keeping him from joining the Chiefs for practices and games until an investigation is complete.

Fantasy Impact:

At this point, the NFL has taken no action but there is speculation that Hunt could be placed on the commissioner's exempt list pending an investigation, which means he wouldn't be able to play. From a fantasy perspective, Spencer Ware would be the primary beneficiary of any potential Hunt absence. He has 36 touches on the year compared to just six for RB3 Damien Williams. Ware averaged 98 total yards and 0.36 touchdowns on 17.6 touches per game back in 2016 and was slated to be the Chiefs starter in 2017 until he tore his ACL in the preseason. Hunt then won the job and never looked back. Consider Ware a fantasy RB2 with RB1 upside if Hunt is out. Williams would likely get a handful of touches as a change-of-pace back behind Ware.
