Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart has 315 rushing yards the past two weeks. Carolina's ground game must lead the charge because emerging young QB Matt Moore is without WR Steve l Smith (broken forearm). Stewart has three 100-yard rushing games the past four weeks.

During the second half of Sunday’s win over the Raiders, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts seemed to suffer a leg injury when he was twisted awkwardly during a tackle. He doesn’t appear on the first injury report for Week 16, in advance of Saturday’s game against the Commanders.
The Eagles held a walk-through, not a full practice. The report for Tuesday is an estimate as to the participation, or lack thereof, if the team had conducted a normal practice.
Another key offensive player showed up on the report, with an injury that would have kept him from practice. Running back Saquon Barkley has a stinger.

We reported on Hurts on Monday having a possible knee issue, other reports said it was an ankle, but either way he's not in the injury report. Barkley is a bit of a surprise, however. Bigsby was listed as limited with an illness, and would likely see a nice workload should Barkley not be able to play. Shipley would also get some touches as well.

Running back Josh Jacobs (knee) was listed as out with an injury he’s been dealing with for several weeks.
Jacobs was questionable to play in Week 15, but scored two touchdowns in the loss to the Broncos, the story pointed out. The hope is he'll play this week as well, in a short week with a game on Saturday night. However, it's a key, NFC Central division matchup with Bears. Jacobs' status will of course be worth monitoring as the week goes on.

Luther Burden (ankle) and Rome Odunze (foot) would not have practiced. Burden was injured in last Sunday’s win over the Browns while Odunze aggravated an injury in pregame warmups.

Burden had a season-high six catches before his injury. The rookie has 36 catches for 479 yards and a touchdown on the season. Odunze has now missed the last two games, but still leads the team with 44 catches for 661 yards and six touchdowns this year, the story said. The Bears and Packers are set to play on Saturday night this week so owners will want to monitor their statuses.
