Cardinals Beat: Jeremiyah Love, Tyler Allgeier will split RB1 work

Jeremiyah Love was listed as the No. 2 running back on the initial depth chart of the season, causing a mini-uproar on social media. But Love ended up being the first running back taking snaps with the starters when 11-on-11 started on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Writer Darren Urban added that Allgeier still got plenty of work with the first team, and, was sure to point out he feels Love and Allgeier are going to split RB1 duties, regardless of what the depth chart says. While it may be frustrating to hear for Love owners, it shouldn't be a surprise. Allgeier was a very effective back in that role alongside Bijan Robinson last season in Atlanta. Allgeier makes for a nice target later in drafts for those taking the Zero RB approach.
