Broncos still consider C.J. Anderson the starter

Troy Renck of the Denver Post:

The running game showed life. The Broncos ran for 144 yards, nearly matching their total of 171 in the previous three games. Yes, 72 yards came on a single mad dash by Ronnie Hillman. The run, however, was set up by smaller chunks and a commitment to the ground game. It's too early to say they have found their man in Hillman. Coach Gary Kubiak told me that he considers C.J. Anderson the starter, while admitting that Hillman has "earned the right" to get more opportunities. As the offensive line continues to improve, the running game will follow suit.

Fantasy Impact:

We currently project Anderson and Hillman to split touches. Anderson will continue to get the first crack, but until he starts gaining yardage in chunks (like he did at the end of last season), Hillman will remain heavily involved. The Broncos won't ignore the fact that Hillman is averaging 4.9 YPC while Anderson has only mustered 2.7 YPC.
