Broncos hopeful Emmanuel Sanders doens't miss time

The Broncos remain hopeful receiver Emmanuel Sanders will not miss any time with a bruised left shoulder joint.

Sanders injured his shoulder trying to make a diving catch near the end of regulation. He outstretched, cradling the football with one hand as he hit the turf.

"I think Emmanuel is going to be fine. He's sore today," Kubiak said, noting that Sanders has dealt with this injury in college and pro ball.

Officials overturned Sanders' catch on review. Sanders popped up and stumbled into the end zone, clutching his shoulder as he fell to the ground. He was in visible pain as running back C.J. Anderson tried to hurry Sanders back to the line of scrimmage before time expired.

Fantasy Impact:

Sanders went to the locker room, leaving Jordan Norwood to return a punt that he fumbled and recovered. Sanders played briefly in overtime before exiting. He finished with four catches for 109 yards on 11 targets. Though the offense has struggled to find consistency, Sanders owns 527 yards and three touchdowns, more than his totals through six games last season.
