Fantasy Impact: 

Wheaton showed promise in 2014-15 with a total of 97 catches for 1393 yards and seven touchdowns. He struggled with injury last year and the Steelers gave up on him. He'll provide depth in the Chicago receiving corps.

Bears fear season-ending ankle injury for Darnell Mooney

Bears WR Darnell Mooney is feared to have suffered a season-ending ankle injury during Sunday's game against the Jets.

Fantasy Impact: 

Ian Rapoport reports Mooney suffered torn ligaments and will need surgery to repair them. Mooney was having a very nice season, given the circumstances, and was starting to pick up over the last few weeks with two touchdowns in three games before Sunday. The Bears were riddled with injuries both before the Jets game and during. Their season is completely lost now at 3-9, though they do currently hold the No. 2 pick in the draft. Byron Pringle had the lone touchdown of the day for the Bears in their 31-10 loss to the Jets.

Allen Robinson to undergo season-ending surgery

Rams WR Allen Robinson will undergo season-ending foot surgery, Rams head Sean McVay said Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: 

Robinson was found to have a stress fracture on his foot Friday and he was listed as questionable for Sunday against the Chiefs. He would become inactive for the game and now will be out for the rest of the season, marking the second Rams receiver to suffer a long-term injury, joining Cooper Kupp. Robinson finishes with just 339 yards and three touchdowns on 33 catches. Van Jefferson and Tutu Atwell look to be the top guys for the Rams going forward, though their season is lost at 3-8.

Darnell Mooney taken to locker room

Bears WR Darnell Mooney was taken to the locker room with an apparent lower body injury.

Fantasy Impact: 

Mooney couldn’t put weight on his leg as he was helped off the field. He leaves after a quiet day on the field but the hope is he’s not seriously injured.
