Saints QB Derek Carr is feared to have suffered a broken left (non-throwing) hand during Sunday’s game against the Giants.

Fantasy Impact:

Carr was attempting to run and dive for a first down during the fourth quarter when he suffered the injury. Interim head coach Darren Rizzi also said Carr was being evaluated for a concussion but did not confirm whether Carr was in the concussion protocol. Jake Haener took over and finished the game. The Saints are 5-8 but are only two games behind the 7-6 Buccaneers in the NFC South. We should know more about the injury and a potential timeline Monday.

Aidan O’Connell carted off with leg injury

Raiders quarterback Aidan O’Connell was carted off the field with a leg injury during Sunday’s game against the Buccaneers.

Fantasy Impact:

O’Connell was given an air cast, which is usually a sign of a bad injury, just like what we saw with Lions edge Aidan Hutchinson. Yet another quarterback injury for Vegas, who also lost Gardner Minshew to a shoulder injury. Desmond Ridder is now in at quarterback. The Raiders currently do not have another quarterback on the active roster.

Jonathan Brooks carted off with knee injury

Panthers RB Jonathan Brooks was carted off the field with a knee injury during Sunday’s game against the Eagles.

Fantasy Impact:

Brooks spent most of the season recovering from his ACL injury last season at Texas, only coming back a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, it’s the same knee. No word on the severity of the injury yet. We’ll keep an eye on this one.
