The injury is considered not to be major, but Allen's status for this week is certainly up in the air as of now. Allen seems like the type of player who would play through it, but the team could lean toward sitting him with the idea of keeping him healthy for the long haul. Continue to monitor his practice status this week. Keenum would be under center if Allen doesn't play but it's obviously a downgrade for the offense in terms of fantasy.

The tweet went on to say that Allen's injury is a UCL injury that will limit him this week. While it’s no sure thing that Allen plays vs the Vikings, belief is it’s an injury he can manage moving forward. How he responds this week is key, according to Rapoport.

However, the slot WR was consistently a safety valve for Allen in Buffalo and with his release this spring that job is up for grabs. Isaiah McKenzie has taken an early stranglehold on that position battle.

He's been one of the darlings of all the NFL camps this year and seems to collect positive press almost every day. The team signed Crowder to possibly fill that role but it's been McKenzie who is standing out.

Eight days into camp and quarterback Josh Allen has connected with Isaiah McKenzie on a daily basis; McKenzie has routinely had the ball thrown his way during red zone drills.

The story went on to say the two have great communication and are continuing to build on the chemistry as the season draws nearer. That development has helped McKenzie understand how to run his routes to get open at the right time. The team brought in Crowder to play the slot but he missed some time early on and reports said McKenzie was taking advantage.

This is all good news to read, but we won't know if Allen has any limitations until he takes the field Sunday.

Getzenberg went on to tweet that Allen has a "chance" to play in Week 15, which doesn't necessarily sound all that positive but the team is going to see how he progresses this week. Trubisky would start if Allen can't go. McDermott said the team will err on the side of caution with Allen, and with all their players. It's also worth noting McDermott didn't say yes or no in terms of the injury being turf toe. The team is calling it a foot sprain.

Allen finished the game and didn't consider going out, according to Rapoport. Allen ran for over 100 yards so all that is a good sign Allen will be able to play through this. He'll likely be limited in practice and maybe the injury cuts down his rushing totals, but for fantasy owners, it at least looks like he's going to take the field in Week 15 against the Panthers. The Bills are fighting for a playoff spot.

Allen admitted he was sore. He did not miss any plays after injuring his foot on a 23-yard run in the fourth quarter. He landed awkwardly on a tackle from behind by linebacker Devin White, with Allen’s leg folding underneath him. This is definitely worth watching as the week goes on. It seems like a good sign Allen isn't concerned but as we learned from the past, players aren't always a good judge of their injuries.
