Rex Grossman May Start vs Dallas

On Sunday, FOX’s Jay Glazer reported that Redskins backup quarterback Rex Grossman split first-team reps with starter Donovan McNabb in practice last week, and that McNabb would be on a short leash against the Bucs.

In the wake of a one-point loss at home to Tampa, the leash may be even shorter.

Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports there’s a chance Grossman will start on Sunday at Dallas. Though Kelli Johnson of CSN Washington cites an unnamed team source who says, “I don’t think that’s true,” we’ve also heard that Grossman could be getting the start but that, at this point, nothing is definite.
