Peyton Manning not concerned with back injury

After getting sacked four times against the Ravens on Sunday, Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning found himself on the injury report. Though he was listed with a back injury, Manning fully participated at practice.

But with the Broncos playing a game on Thursday and with Manning looking less than optimal on Sunday, eyebrows were raised at the sight of Manning's name on that injury report. So, when members of the media met with Manning on Tuesday, they asked him about his back injury.

It turns out Manning's back injury is not a cause for concern.

"I was kind of surprised I was on it to tell you the truth," Manning said via NFL.com. "I think like a lot of guys, it's a pretty physical game on Sunday, so in many ways maybe I'm honored."

Fantasy Impact:

Manning went on to say he hates injury reports, then jokingly diagnosed members of the Denver media with his own injury report about them. Manning and the Broncos play Thursday night but it seems Manning is in no danger if missing Week 2.
