Fantasy Football QB Streaming Week 6: Target Jameis Winston Again

Although only six quarterbacks threw for at least 300 yards during Week 5, it was still a productive week for the position. Seven quarterbacks had at least three touchdown passes, including Drake Maye and Joe Burrow, providing four each. Seven quarterbacks had rushing touchdowns, including Jayden Daniels providing two scores on the ground.

It’s going to be a tricky slate for quarterbacks during Week 6 with four teams on a bye, including the Lions and Bengals. That means fantasy managers who have enjoyed having Burrow or Jared Goff on their squads might be forced to hit the waiver wire for a streaming replacement.

Week 5 Recap

It was a big week for our streaming picks with three players finishing inside the top 11 at the position. Jameis Winston led the way, finishing as QB6 in a wild overtime game against the Commanders that ended in a tie. He attempted a whopping 54 passes, recording 326 passing yards and three touchdowns. He also added 27 yards on five carries. He did not throw an interception, but he did lose a fumble.

While he wasn’t a total disaster, Kirk Cousins was the biggest disappointment among our recommendations, finishing as QB19. In a blowout loss to the Patriots, Cousins threw for just 243 yards and one touchdown. It was the first time this season that he failed to record at least two touchdowns in a game.
