Fantasy Football Week 2 Good Vibes, Bad Vibes (Who Should I Start)
Week 1 vibes were all over the place, both in real and fantasy football. We had a bizarre start to the season with a spitting incident on Thursday evening, but the week ended with two exciting matchups on Sunday and Monday nights.
Some big names needed APBs like Ja'Marr Chase and A.J. Brown, while some players who were seemingly sent out to pasture, like Daniel Jones and Quentin Johnston, lit up the fantasy scoreboards.
Now it’s time to try to make sense of everything that took place and figure out how to use that info to harness the vibes for Week 2.
*Note: For now we only have last year’s schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed (aFPA) numbers to go on, but by Week 4, we have a pretty good sample size to work from. The data gets even more trustworthy as the season wears on and once we hit Week 12, we'll start using rolling 10-week data so the numbers stay relevant.

Good Vibes
Quarterbacks
Justin Herbert (LAC) @ Raiders
Riding high from a pretty good Week 1, where he dropped 383 passing yards and three touchdowns on the Chiefs, the vibes are excellent for Justin Herbert on Monday Night in Las Vegas. Just two contests ago in Week 18 of 2024, the Charger QB posted 28 fantasy points against them, and this Raider defense just allowed Drake Maye to throw for 287 yards and a score. Herbert has Top-10 feels this week.
Justin Fields (NYJ) vs. Bills
Week 1 was a stellar Jets debut for Justin Fields as he was the QB2 on the week, with 29.2 fantasy points in a loss to Pittsburgh. This week, he faces a Buffalo defense that just allowed another mobile QB in Lamar Jackson to rush for 70 yards and a touchdown, plus he also threw for 290 yards and two scores. Fields is also giving Top-10 vibes in Week 2.
