NFL Spread and O/U Picks: Hunter's Week 18 Best Bets
Week 18, typically my least favorite week of the year, due to many teams having varying amounts of care about the games. However, in 2025, we still have a few sets of teams that have enough to play for to actually put the full team on the field, and the bottom feeders either mostly have their QB for next year and/or at least have enough in their starter to not want to immediately find the number 1 pick (except for the Raiders). By my count, we really only have two games that have completely abandoned hopes of getting a real effort from the starters on both sides of the ball in Commies vs Eagles and Raiders vs Chiefs.
Week 17 recap: 3-4 for -5 unit. I was feeling myself a little too much after a 2-0 Saturday night, playing two more plays in which the Patriots essentially reached the game total by themselves, and Phillip Rivers looked like a QB that retired 5 years ago. All aided by the Bengals blowing the doors off the Cardinals, who forgot to show up to the game. Either way, I’ve now got work to do to get to my best season all-time. Let’s get to it.
2025 Year to Date:
- Sides: 34-24 +21.90 Units
- Totals: 44-33 +14.70 Units
- Overall: 78-57 +36.60 Units
