NFL Spread and O/U Picks: Hunter's Week 12 Best Bets:
We are now two-thirds of the way through the 2025 NFL season, and the playoff picture is starting to take shape a little more with each passing game. It’s worth noting that, if the season ended right now, that would be a playoff picture that does not include the Kansas City Chiefs, even. After being a staple in the AFC Championship game for the better part of a decade, the Chiefs are a breakeven 5-5 through 11 weeks with four remaining games against current playoff caliber teams, including a game against the #1 team in offensive EPA/Play, the #1 team in defensive EPA/Play, and a game against divisional opponents that are 2 and 4 games ahead of them in the Chargers and Broncos. They are still being rated a top-3 team by my numbers, but have put themselves in a situation where nearly every game will be a must-win to even make it into the big dance.
The other team I want to highlight in the playoff race is your NFC North frontrunner, the 7-3 Chicago Bears. I thought I should highlight that while I still could, because the Bears currently have wins over teams that hold a combined 24-57-1 record. Their remaining schedule, however, consists of six games against likely playoff teams and just one outing against a team with a sub-.500 record in the Cleveland Browns.
Week 11 recap: 6-1 for +10.90 units. We are crushing it right now. Week 11 caps my second-best week since writing for 4for4, only after Week 6 of this year. It took an emergency appendectomy to the WR1 of the Cardinals to stop a perfect week (although I’m not sure that would have fully made the difference in the outcome of that game).
2025 Year to Date:
