One of the most interesting quirks of fantasy football is that the platform your league is on has tons of power. Specifically, the default rankings that show up in your draft room will heavily influence the decision-making of your league mates. In this article, I’ll be comparing Yahoo’s default ADP with our multi-site ADP to inform your strategy in Yahoo drafts.
Stay Flexible with Early Round Receivers
Yahoo’s ranking of the top-12 receivers this year has a few major differences from the consensus. Notably, Nico Collins is ranked seventh overall on Yahoo but 14th in consensus, and Puka Nacua is 15th in Yahoo but 10th in consensus. Because of these discrepancies, I would advise drafting a running back in the first round of Yahoo drafts and letting the receivers shake themselves out.
