The largest distinction for CBS fantasy football is that the default is standard scoring. I think standard scoring is a bit of a misnomer at this point. Our default assumption at 4for4 is half-PPR, with almost every league I play in providing some scoring for a reception. But with volume being relatively less important for CBS leagues, touchdowns are king.

With that in mind, DraftKings already has projected game totals and spreads for essentially every NFL game this season. As an example, the average expected game total for a Buffalo Bills game this season is 47.4 points. And the Bills are favored by 5.8 points on average. That means, in the typical Bills game, the betting markets expect the Bills to win 26.6 to 20.8. That 26.6 number is the average implied points for the Bills in the 2025-26 season, which is the highest in the league.
