Eagles and Dolphins Sunday Night Football Player Props: Vivid Picks Plays

We went 2-1 in this column last week and barely missed our third leg for the sweep. We’ll try and improve that to win big this week! For those who are new, Vivid Picks is a simple fantasy sports game where you pick multiple players to go over or under their assigned line.

Even if you already bet or play other DFS-style pick-em games, Vivid Picks offers a few unique selling points:

  • Using our code (4for4sub) gets you a $250 deposit bonus and $25 secured play. If you lose your first bet up to $25, you get $25 in promo funds to play again with.
  • For every bet you get right, you automatically get 10% of your stake back in free plays. So if you bet $100 on a 5-leg play, and only win four of them, you still get $40 back in promo funds, which can be used on your next play.
  • Users can boost each other's plays up to 0.5X if they all tail each other. Each person tailing your play boosts it 0.1x up to 0.5x total.

Week 7 Sunday Night Football Vivid Picks Plays

This week’s edition of Sunday Night Football is between the Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins! The Eagles are favorites here in what is one of the highest-totaled games of the week, which means we can expect points galore!

Tua Tagovailoa over 276.5 passing yards

On paper, the Eagles pass defense looks incredible. When you dig into their schedule and try to contextualize everything, it’s not quite as impressive. They are 31st in explosive pass rate allowed this season despite playing against the Commanders, Jets, Patriots, and Commanders as four of their opponents. They allowed 364 yards and four touchdowns to Kirk Cousins and company. This Dolphins offense is significantly better than that, ranking top-3 in basically every offensive metric you can get your hands on. The Eagles' defense is also massively banged up, with multiple players in the secondary either nursing an injury or potentially missing the game altogether. Tua has gone over this in 4-of-6 games so far this season, with one of the losses being due to a blowout and a massive day on the ground.

Jaylen Waddle over 62.5 receiving yards

Waddle has been a bit of a disappointment this season so far but had an amazing bounce-back spot, as I outlined above. I don’t mind Tyreek’s over either, but the yardage is so high to consider taking a binary, yes or no, play on.

A.J. Brown over 82.5 receiving yards

Ever since Brown complained about not being involved enough, he has been on an absolute tear. He has four consecutive games with 125+ receiving yards and now runs into another excellent spot where there should be a ton of scoring. The Dolphins' secondary has not played well so far this season and now may be without Xavien Howard. They play a reasonable amount of man coverage as well, and Brown has absolutely eviscerated man coverage this season.

D'Andre Swift over 62.5 rushing yards

My colleague Ryan Noonan said it best, so I’m not going to try and rephrase it.

“Swift is the dominant RB1 in Philly, handling 60% of the snaps and 68% of the RB carries over the past four games. I anticipate we'll see a lot of passing in this matchup, but the Eagles have a massive edge running the football, especially with Lane Johnson trending in the right direction after practicing on Thursday.

The Eagles have the 2nd most zone concept runs on the season, and it's their most common blocking scheme. Their 57.8% success rate in zone concept runs trails only the Dolphins (58.2%) on the season. Conversely, Miami's defense has really struggled against zone concept looks, allowing a 59.8% success rate and the league's lowest stuff % (tackles at or behind the line of scrimmage).”
