5 Risky Players at the Top of Fantasy Football Drafts
Risk is something we all take on when playing fake football. Most people consider the upside when making selections, but few consider a player’s potential risk, particularly at the top of draft boards.

The following is a look at the players with the most inherent risk at their price heading into 2023. These guys shouldn’t be totally avoided on draft day, but my intent is to point out their lower range of outcomes rather than the chance to outperform ADP.
Bijan Robinson, RB - Falcons (Yahoo ADP: RB4, 9.2)
Over the last five seasons, there have been just two rookie RBs to garner a first-round ADP before they ever took an NFL snap. One panned out as a top 10 fantasy RB—Saquon Barkley in 2018—and one did not (Clyde Edwards-Helaire/2020). This year we get Bijan Robinson, the Falcons' eighth overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. He’s leaving draft boards as the RB4 in the first round of all fantasy sites, which could prove to be too high in his first year as a pro.
