Fantasy Football Tight End Streaming Week 13: Tyler Conklin's Revenge
With another hectic Thanksgiving week behind us and the fantasy playoffs fast approaching our windshield, there is only one more hump of bye weeks to get past; but it’s a pretty large hump. There are still eight teams with a bye remaining —which seems difficult to believe— meaning we still have plenty of fantasy teams that are going to need to hit the waiver wires to continue streaming onesie positions. With plenty of positive-on-paper matchups this week, we should be able to grab someone who can contribute in the short term and, possibly, the long term.
For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season progresses and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers.
To provide the advice you can implement, candidates for streaming must be rostered in no more than 40% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues.
Week 12 Review
With backup tight ends like Josh Oliver, Jordan Akins, John Bates, MyCole Pruitt, and Jake Ferguson all putting forth TE1 weeks in fantasy, we are reminded yet again why this is a position that should be fired straight into the sun. We squeezed another TE1 week out of Foster Moreau (more on him later), and Tyler Conklin had a respectable game during a week filled with a ton of landmines, both amongst streamers and players we thought we could depend on.
We will continue to trudge through the muck to find players who will contribute to our fantasy teams here in Week 13.
