NASCAR Cup Series Race at Road America Kwik Trip 250 Best Bets
Happy Independence Day weekend, race fans bettors! Last weekend, we dropped both head-to-head matchups due to a late-race caution and subsequent strategy calls. We were in a position to sweep, but the caution with nine laps to go was a tough pill to swallow. Our horses pitted for tires while running inside the top five, while double-fade target Kyle Larson stayed out. There just wasn't enough tire drop-off between Larson's old tires and Ross Chastain/Denny Hamlin's new ones to catch him and pass him when the green flag came back out with four laps to go.
The Cup Series gang loaded the haulers and pointed them towards Wisconsin for a holiday weekend stop at Road America. It is a technical, 4.048-mile road course with 14 turns and several heavy braking zones. Last year, Chase Elliott once again showed why he was the road-course king. Will he go back-to-back?
