2022 RBC Heritage Betting Preview

The PGA Tour heads southeast a couple of hours down the road toward the Atlantic coast for the RBC Heritage. Presenting more of a relaxed vibe compared to the pressure cooker that is the Masters, it has attracted a solid field once again and is a beloved event by the players.

Situated at the Sea Pines Resort on the southwest corner of Hilton Head Island, Harbour Town Golf Links has hosted the annual RBC Heritage on the PGA Tour which is held each April following the Masters tournament. From the pervasive palmetto trees and Spanish moss-draped oaks to the beautiful island scenery Hilton Head provides, Sea Pines is one of the most popular golf resorts in the nation.

With tight fairways, numerous doglegs, and sharp angles, it presents a stark contrast for players coming over from Augusta National and its broad wide-open expanses. Harbour Town is a course where finesse and shot-making are prioritized over length and power.

The RBC Heritage is classified as an “invitational” which means a smaller field size of 132 golfers. The normal cut-line of top-65 and ties also returns for this week’s event. As for the field, 11 of the top 20 players in the world are scheduled to attend, including Collin Morikawa, Patrick Cantlay, Cameron Smith, Justin Thomas, and South Carolina native, Dustin Johnson.

Other notables are defending champion Stewart Cink, Jordan Spieth, Webb Simpson, Daniel Berger, Matthew Fitzpatrick, and Tommy Fleetwood.
